BidOnFusion is an auction marketplace for brand-name wholesale merchandise from leading retailers and manufacturers.
Thousands of wholesale lots of overstock and retail returns merchandise from Costco, The Home Depot, Walmart and other major US retailers are sold weekly via live and online auctions to qualified buyers in warehouse facilities in Indiana, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Arizona, Nashville, Georgia and California.
As Director of Marketing in a rapidly scaling startup, I was responsible for all aspects of marketing leading a cross-cultural team in 6 US States and 4 countries.
I conducted primary/secondary market research, created user personas and behavior scenarios for each market, developed marketing strategies for launching new and promoting existing facilities.
I also directed promotional campaigns with local grassroots managers, maintained relations with all marketing vendors across different platforms (TV, Radio, Newspapers, Grassroots and Digital Marketing teams etc) as well as with customers.
To hit our targets, increase participation and lower cost of customer acquisition, I carefully developed and managed over $100k in monthly marketing budget.
On a weekly basis I reviewed expenditures and campaign performance, analyzed users' behavioral patterns, identified opportunities for experience improvement online and on-premise.
Armed with vast amounts of data, I iterated promo campaign design to improve conversions, evaluated current and future market trends, optimized workflows to decrease costs and improve efficiencies.
